First-time login when two-factor authentication is enabled

• Make sure you have either the Microsoft Authenticator app or the Google Authenticator app. If you do not have one of these, you must download one of them.

Logging in for the first time

1. The usual login window is displayed.

2. Enter your usual username and password and click Log in.

3. You will then see a dialog informing you that two‑factor authentication is used. Click Next.

4. A new dialog appears where you will see a QR code. Below this you will see boxes where you enter the numeric code.

5. To scan the QR code and enter the code, open the Authenticator app you are using.
6. Click the plus sign in the bottom right corner of the app. A small menu will appear.
7. Select Scan a QR code and hold your phone in front of the QR code.

8. In the Authenticator app you will now see the name of the instance and a verification code. Enter this code in the login window.

9. Click Confirm. You are now logged into the system.
