How to bookmark the home page?

  1. Log in to V8.
  2. Go to the Dashboard>Personal page and click on the star IMG_V8_SidenPersonlig_Stjerne.PNG (Chrome) IMG_V8_SidenPersonlig_Stjerne_Edge.PNG(Edge) that you see in the address bar of the website (https://instansennavn.com/home/personal).
  3. The dialogue for creating a bookmark/favourite differs between browsers, but the difference is small. 
    • Chrome – the dialogue for creating a bookmark appears. At the top you will see the address, the suggested bookmark name, and the folder where it will be saved. You can change the name and where it should be stored if you wish. Click Save to create the bookmark.

    • Edge – the bookmark is created as soon as you click the star. A dialogue appears informing you that the bookmark/favourite has been created. At the top you will see the bookmark name and the folder where it will be stored. Click Save.

  4. Copy the URL address of the Personal dashboard page – the address in step 2.
  5. Log out of V8.

  6. Click the bookmark you created.
  7. The login page opens.
  8. Go to the bookmark you created, right‑click on it, and select Edit in the menu that appears. As you will see, the URL displayed here is completely different. Remove this and paste the address you copied (step 4).

  9. Click Save.

  10. Click the bookmark. The login window is displayed. Enter your username and password. Click Log in. You will be taken to the Personal page.

    If AD login is used, you will be logged in directly.
