The next time you log in after you have set up two-factor authentication (2FA), you must enter your username and password, as well as the authentication code. How often you must provide an authentication code at login depends on what your company has decided. It may be every day, or for example that authentication should be remembered for 7 days, 14 days, 30 days or 60 days.
- Open the login page on your mobile.
Enter your username and password in the login window and tap Log in.
.- You will now see a dialog where you must identify yourself using a code.
. - Open the authentication app to retrieve the code. This may look slightly different depending on which authentication app you use.
Tap the code to copy it.
.Return to the login page, tap the first box for the digit code and hold briefly to paste the code. You can also enter the code manually.
.- Tap Confirm.
The code will be valid for 30 seconds before a new one is generated. This means that if you do not paste and confirm the code within 30 seconds, you will see a message stating that the code is invalid. You must then open the authentication app again to retrieve a new code.
